Losing Tummy Fat Without Exercising

The weight of the average person today is probably a lot heavier than generations ago. We are so used to seeing overweight people walking on the street, we don't think much about it. What exactly caused this to happen? The simple reason is that we eat more and exercise less. The extra calories that we consume come mainly from added fats, sugar and carbohydrates. We are eating a lot more than before as food is cheaper and we can afford it. The excess calories turn into extra weight around our tummy and losing tummy fat is what most people are talking about.

Here is how you can go about :

1. Stop consuming unnecessary calories in the form of toppings and dips.
Toppings and dips can increase your daily energy intake greatly and make losing tummy fat difficult for you. Take away the whipped cream on your frappes and cakes, avoid dipping chips with sauces and you are on your way to cutting down your calories.

2. Cut down on fast food

Realistically speaking, it is impossible to avoid fast food totally. Gradually decrease your trips to the fast food restaurants, from once a week and working your way to once a month.

3. Stop taking beverages that contains calories

It is easy to lose track of our calorie intake with beverages because we are often trained to count our calories intake on our meals, but not on our drinks. As such, the calories from the coffee you must take every morning and the alcohol you take with dinner is neglected.

The good news is: chocolate milk is a fantastic post workout drink and is one you can take without guilt. Taking chocolate milk after training has been proven to speed up recovery, contributes to greater gain in muscle mass and greater loss of fats.

4. Pay attention to your eating and drinking habits

How many servings of dessert do you have after a meal? What kind of beverage do you order with a meal? Some of these calories we take in may be out of habit. You are probably so used to having your dessert or beverages so you ordered out of habit despite being full. Such habits will increase your weight and waist line. Analyse these habits and when you find them not justifiable, you may very well stop eating more than you need to. Let us start losing tummy fat today.
