@stackindatpapa Im not lui but i do go to the gym 6-7 times a week XD. When i used to do cardio, i would always do cardio before lifting. Gets me warmed up better before lifting. And i would always eat about 30-40mins before i hit the gym. I never put food in between activities. Like those guys you see walking around with a sandwich or a protein shake. Those guys are idiots. Its actually recommended to work out a little hungry. But don’t wait until your hungry after eating before you hit the gym

@GreenPhazon it sounds good except that you hit triceps twice a week (in shoulder day and in chest day).
that’s why i do shoulders in the same workout as chest, but I’m considering splitting it to different days as well.
we’ll see what lui says about it.
also do you do abs only once a week? abs should be done 2-3 times a week

@CIarKent Sure bro, I train so I can at least try to optimize the rest for each muscle. Sometimes do work more than one muscle in a day and I rest at least once a week sometimes twice. Monday – Chest and Tris. Tuesday – Legs. Wednesday – Rest. Thursday Back and Biceps. Friday – Shoulders and Abs. Now I would either take a rest day or just continue the cycle. In my opinion it is an ok split. If anyone has and comments of suggestions about my split please message me or reply to this comment.

@stackindatpapa if you want to lose fat don’t eat dates before your cardio, luimarco said before to do cardio on empty stomach with low glycogen levels. You will just replenish your glycogen levels and burn it during ur cardio if you eat dates and this would be waste of dates.

@GreenPhazon over-training really isnt the concern there.. the question is: can you stay motivated to hit the gym with 100% intensity 6 days a week for the next say.. 5 years? 10 years? 15 years? Not many people can, you will get tired of having to be there almost every day of your life without a break. Also, you’re a lot more likely to get injured if you’re lifting every day. 6 day split seems like its mostly for pro bodybuilders on roids who don’t need time to recover.
