For a visual scale to help you determine your proper height weight as it relates to Body Mass Index (BMI) we recommend using a .

BMI is determined by dividing your weight in kilograms by height in meters squared (for pounds and inches you divide your weight in pounds by height in inches squared and multiply by a conversion factor of 703). Use our BMI Calculator to calculate you BMI value.

The was created by plotting BMI values as it relates to height and weight. The chart is then segmented into the 4 main divisions of weight: Underweight, Normal, Overweight, and Obese.

The BMI range for each of these divisions is:
Underweight Below 18.5
Normal 18.5–24.9
Overweight 25.0–29.9
Obesity 30.0 and Above

Use the below as a general guide to your overall body type. It is important to understand that BMI values can vary depending on ethnicity, age, and muscularity. If you have concerns about your weight and/or heath, we always recommend you discuss this with your doctor as your doctor can then determine your current health based on your exact body type, age, weight, and gender.
